Freeying Ourselves From Outdated World Views-Materialism
In this post I am writing about transcending outdated wrold views -part 2 – namelly the myth of objectivity , created by the scientific materialism or Positivism. You can read more about the transcendence of old world views in a previous post. This is also a matter related to the 7th ray qualities.
Materialism in Science is a Hindrance to Our Vision of the World
We’ve been told by the Masters, how scientific paradigms with positivist or materialist roots created a myth of “objectivity”.
They were born was born from the belief that observation by senses and their extensions, that is, the technological tools of observation, can show us reality as it is, without any interference from the subject.
According to this belief, human beings can observe “reality” without interfering with it, describing, through the use of the scientific method, what the thing is without needing interpretation.
This is a naive approach that does not even take into account the fact that the very functioning structure of the various senses conditions, by itself, what they can perceive. It also forgets that the senses are themselves, a “filter” and, as such, are far from allowing us to see reality “in itself”.
If we had different vibrational frequency thresholds for the different senses, what they would give us to perceive would be completely different, and, certainly, different animal species obtain a very different “image of external reality” from that of human beings.
In fact, as we have already mentioned in other previous articles (see, for example, Process of vision), when we “observe” the world, what we do is build an elaborate image composed of several filters on the 4 material bodies.
There is no going back to this: «seeing» what we call «reality» is always the result of an interpretation that passes through different levels of filters that we have in the 4 material bodies. “Objectivity” as the ability to know reality without interfering with it is not just an illusion but an impossibility.
We can only know something when we interact with it and, in this interaction, both the subject and the object undergo modification, as many quantum physics scientists recognize today.
Materialism is, in this way, the result of naive empiricist simplism and is completely outdated, even for those who devote all their trust in “science” as an answer to the truth about reality.
However, the success of scientific materialism has its roots in the conception of the human being as a purely material being endowed with senses and conceived as having rational faculties that only “function” in connection with sensory experience.
For human beings who see themselves as material bodies evolving in the physical world – and nothing else – they are the “reliable version” of what marks this belief. To change it, we must make changes in the sense of identity, as we are what we see ourselves to be.
All Observation of the World is Subjective
When we become aware of the interferences and filters in our world’s perception ,we also see that it is subjective, projecting our beliefs about the world and ourselves. And this is important because we acknowledge that there are more than physical causes and effects in our experience of the world.
We all have, in our representations of the world, many filters that hide this or that aspect of reality and color our vision of the world with all the illusions and false beliefs that we accepted in our mind to be true or even «absolute truth».
Therefore, our concepts of reality, our concepts about matter are colored by the illusions in our material bodies. We are not «seeing» things «as they are» but as we can see them with all the filters we have in our minds.
Our Beliefs Determine What we Think that ‘can or Can’t be changed
At this point, it is of great importance to question our sense of ‘reality’ and what we believe can or can’t be changed on Earth. In Master St Germain’s words: «question how you look at reality, what you think can be changed and cannot be changed»[1]
Most of human beings have the belief that matter is very difficult to change, therefore, they are impotent to make changes in their lives in the matter world. This belief is very difficult to transcend because we are functioning within a physical body.
And we are used to think that we can’t change the conditions in our lives because «matter» is so dense and doesn’t obey to our mind’s wishes and desires. We think we are powerless to change outer conditions with the mind because we accept the subliminal belief that «matter and spirit» are opposite realities.
We need to accept that the density of matter is an illusion, that matter is fluid energy (as our consciousness) and so, it can indeed be changed with our minds. We must accept and experience the truth of this, if we want to co-create a better world to live in.
For that, we must strive in the self-mastery path and attain a higher sense of identity:« It takes that you move closer to the 144th level before you can truly free your vision from the physical senses.»[2]
Becoming Free Begins with Freeing our Vision
I wrote in another post, (about the 5th ray), how the physical vision is programmed by the brain and the experiences we have in the world. We can only be free beings if we are able to free ourselves from the filters stored in our 4 material bodies.
There is also a close relationship between co-creation and Freedom. Freedom is not just a concept or ideal, Freedom is ability to co-create, to change ourselves and the world we live in , by projecting better images upon the matter realm.
We can say that we are only truly free if we co-create something new in the world, be it the conditions in our lives or whatever we want to co-create.
Language Creates the Illusion of Separation
The words have in its structure, concepts and definitions, a set of rules that states limits and conditions for what we are saying. All this created a long time ago the fixation of our minds in the concepts, and the illusion that reality is separated, everything is «outside» of us.
This is a perception filter of materialism that makes us see ourselves and every object of the world as being separate. It is an illusion and we need to transcend the linear mind that is at its origin, as well its sense of reality and identity.
This change is of crucial importance and until we transcend the separate mind and the linear mind’s understanding, connected to materialism, we will not be able to change the outer conditions in our lives. We will not stop seeing the external world as unchangeable and separate.
We need to transcend the view that we can’t change the outer world, or that everything is separate, so that we can envision better conditions for our lives in the matter world.
The power of vision needs to be enlarged by our ability to see more than we could see before, by transcending the illusions of materialism. When we see through the illusions in our 4 material bodies, we can see more of the «reality» that can only be seen with the mind of Christ.
It is not the physical senses that will allow a better vision, it is the Christ mind, when we open ourselves to it. This «opening» is only possible when the majority of illusions in the higher levels of consciousness are shed. And it is this opening that makes us free beings on Earth.
