Being the Living Christ and the Living Budha in the Golden Age
In this post I am writing about what it means to be the ‘living Christ’ or the Living Budha’ in the new age of Aquarius that will manifest the Golden Age, through its hierarch, the Master St Germain.
What is Needed for People to be Recipients for New Ideas in the Golden Age
The Ascended Masters are the real inventors on earth. So when someone makes a ‘discovery’ in the field of science, technology or any social area, it is because that person can tune into the spiritual plane and receive these ideas.
But it is not necessary for this person to know the Masters, to follow a spiritual path, or to be particularly devoted to any of the Masters. This person does not even have to accept that Masters exist.
What they need to be is someone who has devoted time in their life to trying to solve a certain kind of problem and has acquired knowledge about that problem.
As the ancient philosopher Plato observed more than 2400 years ago, the processes of reasoning and thinking about a given matter open the mind to move from purely logical processes to intuitive discovery.
Many people in philosophy and science have already experienced this dialogue between analytical thinking and intuitive discovery, which appears as a “leap” in relation to reasoning, towards the pure discovery of insight that is not produced by reasoning, but appears as a sudden opening of the mind to a vision that is given beyond concepts.[1]
But this intuition is the result of the person’s attempt to understand in depth the subject he or she is thinking about. And the person’s knowledge of that subject is also essential.
This is why Master St. Germain, the Hierarch of the Golden Age, says that in order for someone to receive ideas that will lead to discoveries in a field, he/she must be an expert in that field.
As with everything else, there is an alpha and an omega aspect: the alpha aspect is that ideas come from the spiritual realm; the omega aspect is that there are some people who try to grasp the matter associated with that idea, who are experts in the field.
Being the Living Christ or the Living Budha is not to Convert People
As I have said before, it is not necessary that all people know about the Masters and the teachings given by the Masters to be able to be the recipients of new ideas that help to bring the Golden Age to Earth.
Many people who are not aware of the Masters and their teachings are at a high level of consciousness and naturally attune their consciousness to the ideas that come from the Masters. And although they feel inspired, many times when they receive an idea, they don’t recognise it as coming from the spiritual realm.
But what is important is that through their own level of consciousness and ability to receive these ideas, they are giving service and making a difference to the manifestation of the God Age.
Like Master St Germain says «It may be that, as we move further into the Aquarian Age, there will be a general recognition of the existence of ascended masters and a general openness to ascended master teachings. I say it “may be” because it is impossible to predict the time span (…)»[2]
So, those who are the direct students of the Masters must give up the intention of ‘converting’ everyone to the teachings given by the Masters. :«expressing your Christhood does not mean you have to go out and try to convert everybody to follow this particular teaching or to accept the existence of ascended masters or our teachings».[3]
But what we can do is to develop our Christhood, raising our consciousness as much as possible.
How to be The Living Christ and the Living Budha in the Golden Age
The best way to be the living Christ on Earth is o work on ourselves and get rid of the many selves that make up the cluster we call ‘ego’ and connect to our spiritual identity.
We can be the forerunners for the Golden Age, by overcoming our primal self and all the selves built upon it. We can disidentify with the mortal and external identity and return to the pure awareness of our I am Presence.
This will not be accomplished overnight, it takes time, will and determination to regain their sense of identity as spiritual beings and not mortal beings as most people have since the fall.
We need to be able to look inward again, to find the nourishing centre of our being, instead of looking outward to force the external conditions of the world to give us what we think we need to be complete and fulfilled.
At a certain point, our efforts and attention to our spiritual identity will pay off, because we will be able to look to the self that we have allowed to capture our sense of identity and see it as the inconsequential unreality that it is, ending the control that this self has had over our minds and our lives.
And gradually we let this self die, until it is little more than a ghost, from which we will free ourselves when we leave the earth.
When we have achieved this important goal of knowing that we are more than the material body on the four levels of the mind, we can stop seeing the world through the filter of the ego and really begin to be the living Christ in action or the living Buddha in action.
In Master St Germain’s words: «That is how you can begin to be the Living Christ in the Aquarian Age. You can begin to, instead of being driven by these outer selves, be directed from within, from me». We can only be the Christ or the Budha when we are able to leap out of the outer self and open to the Christ Mind.
Now, if you ask, “What is the effect of being a direct disciple of the Masters in the Golden Age? I can answer that it is a great impact, because when someone reaches a high level of consciousness, it also means that this person has purified the material bodies from many impurities of fallen consciousness and can therefore be an open door to bring more light into this world.
When the container of self is purified, the I am Presence fills it with light, light that comes from the spiritual realm and expresses itself as love and peace in this world. And the presence of these people on earth has a tremendous effect on the collective consciousness, pulling other people to uplift themselves.
The Living Christ and the Living Budha
Master Jesus is the maxim example of being the Christ on earth, acting in the world, directly, to set an example for others to follow. The Christ is the Omega aspect of the Spirit going into the world to act upon it.
The Budha, which has Master Gautama as the maxim example on earth, at least in our recorded history, complements the Christ by giving balance through peace and non-reactive intervention in the world of form.
Some people wake up as the Christ, with a more active role in the world, say the Masters, others wake up as the Budha, they wake up like the Budha, for a mission that Master Gautama spoke of, when he referred to the bodhisattva way.
Being the Christ or the Budha is determined by the individuality of the I am Presence but in reality these 2 «ways’ complement each other in the oneness of the spiritual identity.
