Compatibility of Divine Plan with Expectations of the Outer Self
In this post, I will discuss the compatibility of Our Divine Plan with Expectations of the Outer Self.
At a given moment on the spiritual path, we may feel torn between expectations regarding the material world- the desires concerning a «better life on Earth», such as having a dream house or car, be ‘successful’, etc. – and what is registered in our divine plan as our sacred mission for this life.
And this is not an easy matter to deal with because, even if we are attuned to our I am Presence, and are at a reasonably high level of consciousness, we still have a connection to the outer self that has several expectations and desires connected to Earth.
Therefore, it is a delicate challenge, which requires some effort on our part, to examine ourselves and be aware of the desires that come from the outer self. And we need to attune to our inner spiritual identity, to access our divine plan for this life and see if the expectations of the outer self are compatible with the choices we made for this life.
From a spiritual point of view, it is not difficult to conclude that there is only one successful choice: to let go the expectations related to the «things» on Earth, that are not our true desires.
The successful choice is to unite with our I am Presence, which contains the immaculate concept of our identity, engraved in the Christ mind, because this is the true purpose for incarnation in the world of form.
This doesn’t mean that we need to renounce all desires concerning life on Earth, but it means that we choose only the desires that don’t conflict with what we chose to put in our divine plan before coming to Earth.
And how do we know what desires are not in conflict with our divine plans? We can only know when there’s a connection to our spiritual identity, when we know, intuitively, what helps to manifest our divine plan and what doesn’t.
Transcending the Ownership Illusion
There is, In the collective consciousness, a strong desire to own something, people tend to see someone’s value through the quantity of assets he or she owns. Most people are educated to «achieve» something, that is, to increase the amount of material goods he or she has. People’s ‘value’ as successful human beings is measured by the quantity of material successes in their lives’ portfolio.
If we don’t have material goods, we are seen as “nobodies”, someone who really “doesn’t count” and we are looked at with disdain. So, the pressure to prove our “worth” to others is big, we don’t want to be “behind” anyone, we want to prove that we deserve the gaze of admiration – or even envy – from others.
But, if we look beyond the outer self and focus on our spiritual identity, this entire line of reasoning and argumentation is futile and reveals itself as a mere illusion.
Just think that none of the “goods” we possess on Earth is lasting and that, at the moment of death, we have nothing more than the nakedness of an abandoned vehicle that does not survive the true identity that we are.
That is why, when we agree to commit ourselves to the spiritual path, we often subconsciously sabotage what we desire with the outer mind but would create obstacles to the implementation of our divine plan and, because of this, it does not come to fruition in our lives.
And, although we can feel disappointed, for a while, in the outer mind, internally we feel a sense of relief that it didn’t happen.
And that sense of relief comes from our internal spiritual self, the conscious you, that knows what the real plan for our life is.
But we also don’t pursue our divine plans in a rigid way, we can indulge in fulfilling some desires about the external world, but we just don’t give them all our energy, because we are aware that there are more important matters to wish for, besides the material things in this world. However, we assure the compatibility of Our Divine Plan with the Expectations of the Outer Self.
We Must Choose How We Use the Light Flowing Through Us
The moment we reach the 96th level of consciousness and beyond, poses an important challenge, and initiation, because, at this level, we are getting light from our I am Presence, and this light can be used , like the Masters say, to be more» or «to be less» than we are at that point.
If we choose to identify with the outer self and use the light to gather power, riches or whatever the external self wants for itself, in this world of form, we can do it temporarily, but we will be following the left-handed path.
Why is that? Well, it is so because the outer self sees itself as separate from the whole of life, wants to be more and to have more than other parts of life. But the Light- that is, spiritual light, is, by Nature, given to all of life, to create «abundance» to all life, not just for one or a few individuals living in the illusion of separation.
When we use the spiritual light to reinforce the desire to be separated from other parts of life, we are using it for egotistical purposes, and we are attempting to all life.
The crucial question is, in the words of Master St. Germain: “Do I want the will of my outer self to decide what is going to be manifest in my life or do I want a higher will, my I AM Presence, the choices I made when I formulated my Divine plan to determine what is going to be manifest in my life?”[1]
In the spiritual path, the answer is to follow the decisions recorded in our divine plan.
Therefore, there is only one constructive way to use the light that flows through the I am Presence in us: it is to create the abundance of the «Kingdom of God» in all life, transcending the consciousness of scarcity, poverty and lack that has been imprinted in the collective consciousness for such a long time on Earth.
The separate identity created this illusion a long time ago, so that people think that they can only have more if others have less, because the resources on Earth are not enough for all to have «abundance».
However, if humankind transcends the consciousness of lack, and unites with their spiritual identity, there will be enough spiritual light flowing from their I am Presences to create better conditions for all, to live in this planet.
The Golden Age is the Age of Democracy, Cooperation and Community
Of course, it is not all human beings that are at the level of being close of not needing to reincarnate on Earth again. But many developed already the consciousness that manifests the Golden Age on Earth, in union with St Germain’s vision.
This consciousness is what Master Jesus and St Germain have been calling the «Basic humanity» expressed by Master Jesus when He walked on Earth, 2000 years ago: «Do unto others what you would like others do to you» and the «Essential Humanity», by which we recognize that all human beings have equal value in the eyes of God, and, therefore, they all have the same rights that can’t be taken away from them.
These are basic principles, and there are many people on Earth that feel their truth and apply them in their lives. And these are the principles that can allow the manifestation of the consciousness of the Golden Age.
Master St Germain already told us, what He wants to manifest now: it is the «spirit of community», as this first step to manifest the Golden Age. This new era is not going to manifest all at once, nor immediately in all its potential. It will last for the next 2000 years, and it will be manifested gradually.
And we, as spiritual people incarnated now on Earth, certainly have in our divine plans to help, in some way, the manifestation of this new era, whose most important characteristic, I dare say, will be the manifestation of a collective human consciousness of “abundance”, rather than scarcity or poverty; a consciousness of unity among all and in which the majority is open to cooperation.
Master Jesus said, many times, that He came, 2000 years ago, to implement democracy because democracy is the only form of government that is in accordance with the laws of creation and the equal value of all human beings.
Democracy is also the only form of government that allows the growth of all and supports the creativity of all that accept all who accept responsibility for themselves.
So, to be on Earth now, no matter what extremes and disharmony that exists throughout the world, is a privilege and an opportunity for growth for everyone who wants to be part of the co- creation of this new era.
And this will only be possible if we aim the compatibility of Our Divine Plan with the Expectations of the Outer Self.
