Conscious You, Pure Awareness of the I Am Presence
In this post I am going to clarify the concept of conscious you that the Masters and myself have been using and might not be well understood by all those who find the posts we have been publishing.
We know from what the Masters have been telling us, that each of us has an individual identity – in the I am Presence- but that identity cannot manifest itself in the matter realm. Among other reasons, the frequency of the I am Presence is too high to be manifest directly in the world of form.
But the I am presence wants to experience the matter world from inside so, it creates an extension of itself- that is the conscious you– to go into the world of form. This extension is a part of the consciousness of the I Am Presence, focused in the world of form:
the I am Presence focus its attention in the world of form as if it were there, and see through that extension and experience the world of form. The «conscious you» is the localized awareness of the I am Presence.
Being a localized awareness of the Presence, the «conscious you» has no individuality of its own, and that’s why the Masters call it «pure awareness».
As the recently ascended Guru Ma says in her book Don’t Drink you own Kool-Aid[1], where she shares important insights about the conscious you and the I Am Presence, the conscious you, as the localized consciousness of the Presence, it is not disconnected or separate from the Presence.
There is no distance from the I am Presence and the conscious you. However, when the conscious you chooses to identify with the separate mind, it experiences itself as different and separate from the Presence.
The I am Presence is the Alfa aspect of our individuality. And, as such, it is not on Earth but stays in the lower part of the Spiritual realm (it did not ascend, yet). The conscious you is the Omega aspect of our spiritual individuality and experiences itself in the world of form, although it also needs a «vehicle» to interact with Earth. And this «vehicle» is in fact, the 4 material bodies and a self, that creates a temporary identity.
But it is an illusion to think that the I am presence is in a different «space» – the conscious you is here and the I am Presence is there. This illusion is only possible because the conscious you forgot its true identity when entered in the separate mind.
When the conscious you come out of the outer self and of the «role» performed by this external self, it feels one with the I am Presence because it opens itself to the experience of the Christ Mind.
The Masters call it «conscious you» because this is the self that makes possible for human beings be conscious of themselves, or to be self-aware beings.
Why the conscious you Creates a New self when Incarnates
I already addressed in other post, the process of creating the first self, with a temporary identity to deal with the parameters of the matter world. So, I invite you to read more information there, if you like.
Let us just say that the conscious you is a spiritual extension of the I am Presence. And what this means is that it is in the world of form, but it is not part of this world and can’t be damaged by anything from this world. Exactly as the I am Presence has no form, the conscious you does not have any form, either.
When it was created by the I am Presence, the conscious you came to the world of form to have one specific role: to be the open door for the presence. This means that the conscious you is the mediator through which the I am Presence can send light to the world of form and can experience this world directly through the conscious you.
As an extension of the I am Presence, the conscious you shares the characteristic of the I am Presence of Freedom and self-awareness.
But, after having identified with the selves from 144 to the 48th level, to integrate with the material bodies and accept a temporary identity that hides its true identity, the conscious you can forget its spiritual identity and accept to identify with the mortal self and the separate mind.
When this happens, the conscious you begins to identity with all limitations and conditions created by the mortal self, and accepts that has no power to transcend them. This is what the masters call a «catch 22» where the conscious you becomes trapped in the experience it is living temporarily.
But, being spiritual in nature, it can’t stay forever trapped in the matter world, either.
The journey of the conscious you was, originally, less difficult: the conscious you was sent to a protected environment, in the higher identity plane, where it was prepared by the Masters to know how to take a material self to experiment the «separate identity» for a while, without identifying to it to the point of forgetting its spiritual identity.
And, when the new being followed the instructions of the Masters, this experiment ended with the conscious you transcending that temporary material- self. It was expected that this being, after gaining some experience from the separate mind, could create his own selves, to descend to a physical body, instead of take some role predefined , like happened at he beginning.
The self, created in the matter realm, did hide, like we wrote elsewhere the real identity of the conscious you because a self is a filter, projecting an image of «reality» and, when the conscious you forgets that it is an actor performing a role, and is more than that role, and identifies with the role, taking it as its true identity, it becomes trapped.
Many beings became trapped in this because they wanted, as the Masters tell us, to experiment with the separate mind before they were ready to that experience.
And the fact that, at some point of the history of Earth, the fallen beings were allowed to incarnate in this planet, bringing with them the beast of the separate mind, this had the effect that we see on the planet today, most human beings are trapped in this illusion.
The Garden of Eden’s myth tells us exactly how the beings got trapped in this illusion that remains so present for the majority of people on earth, where human beings think of themselves as only biological beings, fruit of the Earth’s evolution, and nothing else.
