Divine Will is Based on Love and Freedom
In this post I am writing about God’s Will, and how divine will is always based on Love and Freedom. Will is a quality of the 1st ray.
The Earth’s Image of an Angry God is Based on Fear
For centuries of Earth’s history, there has been this image of an accusing and vengeful God, who punishes everyone who does not obey him or does not respect its commandments.
This image has been perpetuated by the so called Christian religious traditions around the world, and many people who follow these religions believe in this God who seems to consider «forgiveness» as a rare exception.
The reason why this happens is that humanity created an image of God at its own image, take for granted that God sees the world and looks at humankind with the same values, emotions and concepts that human beings use to relate to each other. In this image we don’t see that divine will is based on love and freedom.
No one ever really thought- except agnostics- that all human expressions of emotions or ideas and concepts are very far from grasping the divine mind. The result is that human beings project onto God the characteristics that they observe in themselves or, at least, in some members of Humanity.
This is simultaneously fruit of an infinite vanity and enormous naivety, to think that we can «see» the world and our own reality with the same accuracy and discernment of God’s mind. If we look at the so called «proofs of God’s existence», developed by several philosophers, we realize that many of them seem to accept our intellect as having the same God’s ability to «understand» and «to know».
But the human mind, as we know by experience, is limited, we can’t even fathom how God’s mind really is. But we create an image of how we think God’s mind is, and after that, we convince ourselves that the attributes we give to that God’s image, are the effective and true qualities of God. That «God», however, is a creation of our own minds.
And that’s how we came about with this image of an angry God: we investigated our own emotions and reactions and decided that God has the same reactions and emotions that we do. This is a poor image of the creator, but it has been projected for a long time in the collective consciousness and, therefore, it has become very powerful on Earth.
However, when we think about this vengeful and accusing god, we can ask ourselves if it makes sense that a being so far ahead of ourselves could have in its being the same fear that makes human beings to react to the world, so it replicates the same behaviors in the relationship with the beings he created.
Can God have any fear in its being? Does this make sense at all? We are all created from God’s Love, we were not created through fear. Creation was an act of will and love, unconditional love. And love cannot coexist with fear.
Most people on Earth are moved, like I wrote in a previous post, by fear and it is not able to experience unconditional love, and that’s why they cling on this image of an angry god, a vengeful god, because they cannot accept that there is a being capable of loving without setting conditions or rules.
Until human beings experience this kind of love, they will not accept a god who is not vengeful, preferring to believe that God punishes everyone who disobey or act against His will. They need to switch their minds from the external self to experience their spiritual self to be able to accept that God’s love is unconditional.
God’s Will isn’t Separate from Love and Freedom
God created everything from its own being, and this means that we are all extensions of God. So, how could God judge us or be vengeful towards us? Our identity is an extension of God.
We were created free and are co-creators with God, from inside the world where we are living our lives. God doesn’t make rules about what is «right or wrong», no matter how hard it is for the external mind to accept this. This is the God where divine will is based on love and freedom.
And the simple reason is that Earth was designed to be a schoolroom for the life streams living on Earth, it is an environment where »God doesn’t remember our sins», because we are experimenting with free will as part of our spiritual growth.
Using their free will, most human beings fell in separation long ago. They «fell», as the ancient scriptures recorded, but the same way people chose to identify with the external self and forget their spiritual identity, they can return to it, by making another free choice.
No Master of Humankind wants to make us turn back to the spiritual path, if we choose otherwise, but we can use out internal divine will to come back, when we experience the unconditional love of our I am Presence.
Or, if we can’t connect to our I am Presence yet, we can have experience our spiritual identity by connecting to an ascended Master or our Christ- Self and this way we know that we are more than the external self.
We were created through an act of love from our creator, and we can return to our original identity again through love.
Although unconditional love is rare on Earth, it is still possible to experience it: the love of parents for their children, for instance, there are moving examples of parents that offered their lives to save their child’s life.
Or some altruistic gestures where an individual demonstrates to us that there are more than just egotistical actions and interests.
Although Earth is far from being a planet with the highest level of consciousness, there have been, throughout its history, some individuals that were able to see more than their own interests or goals and inspired the rest of humankind.
When we admire those beings, we can accelerate ourselves and feel the love they demonstrate to us. And this love, unconditional as it is, moves the will of our spiritual self to the desire to be more. And in this process, we also change our sense of self.
The most remark here is that we can only accelerate ourselves through love, unconditional love. As long as we let ourselves be captured by the ego’s consciousness, which constantly compares itself with others, so that we don’t feel like we are “behind” them, we remain imprisoned by the conditions and limitations that we accept and cannot be free.
In Master More’s words: « There comes a point where the only way to progress is to make a decision to accelerate your sense of self – not beyond any standard, but certainly beyond the standard you have at this point – and that decision must be based on love»[1].
When every student makes the decision to accelerate himself it is when the self-mastery path begins, where the 7 Chohans offer their help to uncover, level by level, the many veils that each of us accepted long ago, and that led us to accept the sense of identity born on Earth and developed on Earth.
And that’s why it is so important that each student knows and experiences the qualities of the seven rays. Not by intellect, but by the spiritual mind in them, the conscious you, that is the «pure awareness» of the I am Presence, localized on Earth.
This spiritual mind is the representant of the Christ Consciousness in every human being and it is not possible to annihilate it on us, although it can be hidden, if we so decide.
When humankind on Earth decided to go into separation, the mortal self that was born, gradually began to pull on the attention of the conscious you in such a way that, after some time, the conscious you began to identity with that mortal self.
But it is now time for it to regain consciousness of its real nature and jump out of the illusory sense of identity it accepted before. But, once again, the conscious you chose in the past to identify with the external self and it is the only one, now, that can undo that decision, experiencing that divine will is based on love and freedom.
