In this post I am writing about one  quality of  the 5th ray, truth and its impact in our social lives. you can read about more qualities od the 5th ray in a previous post.

The Epic Illusion of «Truth»

The search for truth on Earth has acquired epic contours throughout history, having been responsible for some of the greatest atrocities humankind experienced and perpetrated on Earth.

People have believed since a long time, that “the truth” is something worth killing and dying for.

Whether in religion or in some form of ideology, the history of humanity shows how many have allowed themselves to be seduced by the “idea of truth”, to the point of considering that, when they kill another human being “in the name of that truth”, they are doing “the God’s work” and will receive a reward for it.

In this way, the history of humanity has been filled with bloodshed, in the name of a set of definitions created on Earth, about «good» and «evil» «false or «true».

People with this mindset have  the perception that what they do is of supreme importance, so that they feel legitimized in killing and  continually become   predators of other men, denying them the freedom to think differently and  having beliefs different from yours.

And the most inexplicable thing about all of this is that a large part of these “defenders of the truth” have called themselves “Christians”.

But how to explain the cognitive dissonance in believing that one is acting “in the name of Christ” by killing other human beings, when the word of Christ told them “Love your neighbor as yourself” or “do not respond to evil with evil »?

In the words that we can read in the Bible attributed to Jesus, we find only calls for Peace, for the acceptance of others, without “responding to evil with evil” and of «doing to others what  we want others to do to us». Jesus was a pacifist, not someone who wanted to become a “hero” by destroying everyone who didn’t agree with him.

Thus, the impetus that, throughout history, led so many to seek “glory” through the death and destruction of all who thought and lived differently, does not come from the teachings of Jesus, who sought to teach how to live in community and cooperation, not war.

Individualism is the Enemy of Peace

When we look for “the reasons” for so many divisions among human beings, in the name of some «truth», we see that the individualistic perception, which sees each human being as a unit separate from others, is at the basis of religious and ideological battles.

Each person seeks to stand out from the others, “to show that they are “better”, that they are superior, etc., they have the «only trough, the superior truth» focusing on the differences between themselves and others and not accepting that it can be more than «one truth».

As long as the focus of the collective consciousness is this division and separation with each person trying to stand out in relation to everyone else, true cooperation will not be possible.

To ensure lasting peace and the progress of a dignified life for all, it is necessary for people to stop focusing on the individual and different beliefs or ideas and focus on the “community”.

Does this mean that we stop giving importance to the individuality of each human being, as Marxist ideologues did a century ago? The answer is a resounding “no”!

What this means is that we recognize the essential equality between all human beings, and the consequent rights of all to prosper in a common life, developing the spirit of mutual help and cooperation instead of promoting ideals of separation and the superiority of some- be it persons or ideas, or some specific «truth», that legitimizes violence and the attempt to eliminate all that is different.

Life in democracy, living in cooperation, accepting the plurality of “truths,” while respecting each person’s freedom, accepting equality of rights for all, produces more progress and wealth for everyone than life in non-democratic societies, as can be demonstrated by the standard of living in current  democratic societies in the world, compared to non-democratic societies.

Peace is only possible living in democracy. The idea that war brings prosperity is only true for a small minority, who get rich at the expense of the suffering of many who pay for this elite’s wealth with their own life and blood.

It is therefore very urgent that people begin to question their concepts of “truth” and  leave behind the illusory ideologies, which to this day have not improved the general conditions of the human life on this planet.

There is no Absolute Truth

Those who follow the spiritual path are challenged to abandon the idea that “there is an absolute truth” and that this truth is so precious that it is worth fighting, killing and dying for.

However, all evidence on Earth show us that there is nothing that is absolutely permanent, everything is subject to the limits of space and time, to a beginning and an ending.

Furthermore, it is quite arrogant to think that our human mind is capable of thinking “absolute truths”, even though we do not have, in visible experience, nothing that can be a reference standard of this truth.

There has been, over time, many who have tried to find good arguments to defend this “absolute truth”, either in religion, science, or ideology.

But we can also look to Earth’s history and ask: «Where have the concepts of ‘absolute truths’ taken us throughout the history of humanity? »

And what we can see is that such concepts never led to progress but, unfortunately, they only led to suffering and death of many, so that a few could benefit selfishly.

Therefore, the time has come to, instead of chasing illusory mirages of “truth” in ideologies and other systems of beliefs, we  learn to live in community, expressing the real ideals of cooperation and the  acceptance that we are all equal in “essence” and in rights and that these are inalienable  in every human being and must be respected and protected  by the laws and the Constitution.

Only when we recognize this essential unity among all human beings and learn to cooperate, not in the distrust of those who feel separated from others, but in the acceptance that there is a basic spiritual unity among all human beings, will real peace and social progress be possible.

A large part of Humanity is tired of feeling that Peace is just an interlude between wars, born from the desire of some elites thirsty for more power and wealth for themselves at the expense of the work of the majority.

Another assumption Is also clear, that this peace will only be possible when people assume their condition as free and responsible beings, so that the majority does not allow their collective destiny to be defined by a minority that does not have everyone’s interests in mind but only the limited agenda of their own interest.

It is necessary to recognize your own freedom and accept the responsibility that comes with it, and stop the passive acceptance that others decide for you what your life should be like, and this is only possible in democracy.

“Truth” is not fixed, because life is a continually open process. No human being is an island, we all live together, we are a collective “us”.

Therefore, «Truth» is what promotes the growth and general well-being of all, and if it can promote it. When an accepted “truth” is no longer capable of promoting progress and general growth, it is time for it to be replaced. Without attachments or remorse, because the “truth” is a practical tool, which is remodeled, following the movement of life.
