Knowing the Seven Rays- Preparing to Be Free

I this post I am going to introduce some ideas about f the 7th  ray, associated with Freedom.

Becoming Conscious  of Our Freedom

The 7th ray is about freedom, justice, and forgiveness . In this post I am addressing  freedom but I want to show why does freedom come after the 6th ray of  healing.

It is not  by  mere chance that freedom  comes after the 6 ray’s healing because we need to  purify our 4 material bodies before we can be free beings.

The self-mastery path or the «seven veils’ path like the Masters have called it is a process of gradually healing from the illusions we have been keeping for a long period of time, after we fell in «separation» from our spiritual identity.

Freedom does have a very particular characteristic, of launching us into the future, it is naturally associated with the ability to project a vision that we want to manifest in a future, prepare ourselves for the future that may be near or far, according to our current level of consciousness.

And all initiations and growth on the six rays we did before  help us to understand  that , if we want to co-create our future, we must do it from the Christ consciousness , otherwise,  If we are in the consciousness of lack, of the mortal self and its linear mind,  we will not be able to co-create anything sustainable and , most of all, we will not be really free when we co-create.

It is not the psychological attitude of «being positive» that will help to co-create. Our psychological mechanisms, like I wrote in previous posts- about the 6th ray- can hinder our creative efforts, not enhance them, because they are trapped in a fabric of illusions and have no access to the light coming from the spiritual realm.

There is only one creative identity in us: our I am Presence. And this one precipitates for us what is in our divine plans. So, we must learn to identify what the external self wants from life- more riches, mundane success, a beautiful garden or car, etc., – and what our spiritual identity wants to manifest.

Because we are our spiritual identity and not the external temporary self, we must align our efforts with the immaculate concept for our lives, recorded in the Christ mind.

It is understandable that, when we are at lower levels of the self-mastery path, we give much credit to the needs and desires of the mortal identity.

But, as we rise through the levels of consciousness and reach the 96th level, we begin to realize that the desires of mortal identity are temporary and superfluous, not truly contributing to our progress and real well-being.

This does not mean that we cannot fulfill some desires developed by the external self. The Masters have told us about several spiritual beings that preceded us in the spiritual path, and how they had some earthly desires that they accomplished before they ascended.

Master St. Germain, the Chohan of the 7th ray, says that it is only natural, for instance, for people that for many lifetimes were poor, to experience one or several lives with affluence, and it is a legitimate desire to aspire for, because this experience is also important to general growth and in awareness.

But we also must be careful not to get carried away by some “big dreams” that want to manifest themselves on the physical plane, because the purpose of life in the world of form it to grow in awareness, and not accomplish great things in the material world nor change the world in some epic sense.

The victory of Freedom and Creativity

Master St Germain, the Chohan of Freedom, introduces Freedom as being inseparable from a sense of victory:  a victory by feeling free from all the constraints of the mortal self and its attachment to the Earth, and all the fears and conditions we accepted in the past.

This sense of victory empowers us with this feeling of victory , of being free ,and gives us the power   co-create the reality we live in, using the light that flows through our  I am Presence.

We are able to co-create because as St Germain says, we are endowed with the  innocence of the first glance, of a child’s gaze that is free from conditions and prejudices, expressing the joy and creativity of the  pure spirit.

In the 7th ray, we are becoming aware that we are more than our material bodies, we are more than the sense of self created on Earth and the mater realm. And, in knowing this, we are feeling the victory that manifests on us as freedom, as the lightness of the spirit that rises forever above the material world

The First Initiation of Freedom

In St Germain’s words, in his book The Mystic initiations of Freedom[1]:«what do you do when you come to the initiations of freedom? You have to face the test of letting go all the earthly boundaries that define your sense of self».

In this way, to be ready for the initiations on the 7th ray, we must transcend  one by one, all the selves created by the mortal sense of identity and recognize our spiritual identity, the I am Presence. It is the I am presence that has a unique individuality given by the creator. The mortal self is just a temporary vehicle to incarnate in the world of form.

That’s why the awakening phase on the path is a process of seeing and letting die the selves created and stored in our 4 material bodies.

Master St Germain teach us that the greatest obstacle to this initiation is the tendency to define our sense of identity, using the images and references coming from external conditions. These can only define the outer self, not our spiritual identity.

What we need to do is to open ourselves to the I am Presence, without using the linear mind that compares, judges, defines boundaries and conditions for everything.  We must focus on the pure awareness of the conscious you and stay open to our Presence and to what it wants to express through us.

Until we attain the 144th level of consciousness, we can experiment freedom only in some moments of «victory», as Master St. Germain calls it.

But, if we still have reactionary patterns in the 3 higher material bodies, and react through them to some external circumstance, in   these moments we lose our freedom and let the old state of consciousness manifest once again, controlling us, instead of us controlling our reactions.

At these moments, if we criticize ourselves, this is not constructive. What is constructive is to see the selves that makes us react to anything outside, see the belief that supports this self, and let die the self and the belief. Every time we do this, it is another step to freedom that we accomplish.

This is what builds our sense of victory and also  enforces the feeling of a greater sense of freedom.
