Our Perception of Truth is Always Individualized
I am continuing to write about the 3rd ray of Love in connection with the 5th ray of Truth. In this post I am following Master Paul the Venetian’s book [1] to comment on why our perception of truth is always individualized.
The Spiritual Identity- The Conscious You and the I am Presence
The Masters teach us that, in order to incarnate in the world of form, our spiritual identity had to create a vehicle to express itself in this world because it needs an intermediary between the higher vibration of the spiritual identity and the lower vibration of matter.
The spiritual identity of the I am Presence cannot express itself directly in the world of form and does not come directly into the world of form, it remains in the lower spiritual realm and sends an extension of itself – the conscious you.
In its pure state, however, the conscious you is only the pure awareness of the Presence, focused in the world of form. The conscious you is not all that the I am Presence is, it is only an extension, a part of it, and it can be multiple extensions of the I am Presence, individualising in multiple localised focuses of its awareness.
The I am Presence in turn is also an extension of another higher spiritual being, forming a chain of being that goes hierarchically up to the Creator. And each I am Presence is also individualised, as is each conscious you. That’s why both the I am Presence and the conscious you are free.
The relationship between the I am Presence and the conscious you is such that the I am Presence is the alpha aspect and the conscious you is the omega aspect. Both form a unity, albeit differentiated, until the conscious you awakens from the temporary identity developed in the world of form and unites with the Presence in the ascension process.
Until this process is complete, the conscious you has a mixed perception, sometimes identifying with the I Am Presence, sometimes identifying with the mortal self, especially when it is at or near the 96th level of consciousness.
When it identifies with the Presence, its perception of reality follows the individuality of the Presence; and conversely, when it identifies with the mortal identity, it follows the individuality of the human personality or “soul”, the three lower bodies.
The Human Identity is Created on Earth, and is also Individualized
As Master Paul the Venetian says, « As long as you are in embodiment, you will never actually see truth in an absolute sense. You will see it through your soul vehicle».[2]
The Masters have explained that although we incarnate in a new body in each incarnation, we keep the 3 higher bodies – identity, mental and emotional – from life to life. And although we have incarnated many times in male and female bodies, we create a personality that is the result of the many experiences and learnings we have had on Earth.
This human personality has a distinct individualized expression and this is also related to the fact that it was the conscious you that created the soul or the 3 material bodies in our first incarnation in order to express itself on earth. And that expression is also individualized.
We will carry this personality of the soul with us until we ascend, but not after. The soul can’t be ‘saved’ because only the being that came from the spiritual realm – the conscious you – can return to the spiritual realm.
But while we are on earth, we perceive reality – including our identity – through the filter of our soul personality. Now the way our soul perceives the world is not the same as the way our I am presence perceives it, and in a way each of us has a perception of what ‘truth’ is.
And that should be enough to show that there can’t be an absolute truth, that what there is is always a relative ‘truth’ and an individualized perception of truth. And this individuality can never coincide with a universal truth. We only see the world from a perspective that is always partial and limited.
The Level of Consciousness Factor in the Search of Truth
Another thing to consider, about why our perception of truth is always individualized, is the level of consciousness we are in. As I wrote in another post, there are 144 levels of consciousness on earth, and every human being is in one of them.
If someone is below the 48th level of consciousness, they are unable to see any ‘truth’ because they are completely trapped in the fallen consciousness. And above that level, up to the 96th level, the way he/she perceives ‘truth’ is in accordance with the personality of the soul – the 4 lower bodies – and through many filters of perception that obscure reality.
The closer one is to the 96th level of consciousness and beyond, the purer the perception of ‘truth’, but still, until the person ascends, the world is seen through various illusions stored in the material bodies.
And as Master Paul the Venetian says, since we are always individualised beings, even as we ascend and even at the level of the Creator, we will never have a universal perception of truth. The ego dreams of this possibility of gaining a universal perception of reality, but it is just a big illusion.[3]
The consequences of this are that it is simply impossible for 2 beings to have exactly the same way of seeing the world. individualisation means differentiation and, as such, the perspective from which they see the world is necessarily different.
It is therefore necessary for people to give up the ego’s dream of finding someone exactly like themselves, and the belief that if people are different, no relationship or true communication is possible.
This idea, however, is born out of an illusion and only exists because the ego interferes with the way we see the world and the way we relate to other beings.
Everything that exists has an alpha side and an omega side. The omega side is individualization, but this is complementary to the alpha side, whereby we are all one through the mind of Christ.
It is only the personality of the soul, with which the ego has long been associated, that dreams of similarity and universality without differentiation. The Mind of Christ finds the union of what is different in the experience of belonging to the reality of oneness, where there is no conflict between being individualized and at the same time being one.
Our perception of truth is always individualised, but it is also unified in the sense that it comes from the one Mind of Christ, from which everything that exists was created and which, although individualised, does not exist in a separate state, which is only an illusion.
But only when a significant number of people discover this relationship between the individuality of their perception and its simultaneous unity will they see the perversion of a universal truth that the ego seeks because it is incapable of experiencing the One Mind of Christ.

[3] «A m I saying that your I AM Presence also has an individualized perception of the world? Yes, it does. You will have an individualized perception until you reach the Creator consciousness. Even beyond, you will be an individualized Creator. You will not have the kind of dualistic perception you have while you are in embodiment, while you are unaccented, but it is still individualized”.
