The Need to overcome Anger Against God part 2
In this post I am continuing the discussion about where did the anger against God come from and why we need to overcome this anger.
Avatars’ anger Against God and Themselves
In the last post I wrote about the general origin of the anger against God. In this post I am going to write about other inhabitants of Earth that came from other worlds, the avatars. These beings came from natural planets to Earth a long time ago, to help elevating the planet.
These avatars were not beings in the most elevated levels of consciousness, although they were in higher levels of consciousness than the original inhabitants of Earth. They saw the suffering of human beings on Earth and wanted to help people get out of this suffering.
But they didn’t understand how Freedom works, and why we can’t force anything on anyone just because we think we are better able to see what is best for them and the planet.
The avatars came to help the inhabitants of Earth to have a life with less suffering. However, they faced resistance and rejection from the inhabitants of Earth, who did not want to accept the changes that the avatars wanted to make on the planet.
This rejection by the inhabitants of Earth made the avatars feel frustrated and angry: on the one hand, for having come to Earth where they were not wanted nor appreciated:« For many avatars their hatred or their anger is directed towards themselves(…)if you go deeper, it goes back to that shock you received of realizing that your original goal for which you came to earth cannot be fulfilled»[1]
On the other, they were angry with God, for having given freedom to human beings and that freedom has been used by them to live in suffering. They felt that they were not wanted nor appreciated, the people of Earth didn’t want their help, they didn’t want to come out of the suffering.
They also felt angry with themselves for having come to Earth and now they were imprisoned on the planet. There was already a self, feeling this way on Earth, created by the fallen beings, but the avatars assumed this self too: « Why hasn’t God changed the equation of free will, why does God allow us to suffer, why has God allowed me to suffer?” You feel a certain anger against God for giving you free will.(…) Why did God even give me free will?”[2]
The problem with avatars is that they didn’t understand that, because there is free will, they could never accomplish their mission of changing Earth by imposing their own view, because if they did this, they would not respect earth’s inhabitants ‘s free will.
So, they now need to face this self that wants to change life conditions on Earth, and let it die, because the anger they feel against themselves and God is not real, is just the feeling of a separate self.
These beings thought that they would come to Earth to perform an epically important mission, they would be heroes; but what they wanted was to go against most people’s free will. There is no epically important mission on Earth, and it is necessary to respect people’s free will.
When they let this self, die- they need to discern first the essence of free will – not with the analytical mind but with the Christ mind– they can finally feel at peace with what happens on Earth.
Avatars and all other inhabitants of Earth need to understand that there is only one way of overcoming the anger against God and themselves: forgiveness.
The Need to Forgive Everything and Everyone
The Masters have told us many times, that God doesn’t punish anyone. In Mother Mary’s words: «The truth is that God has given you free will, and therefore God is not angry with you for the fact that you have used it to go against his laws. »[3]
However, we must accept that, if we have individual freedom, we also must consider the freedom of others, that is, God did not create a world made up of individuals separated from each other; created a world in which all life is one. Therefore, not only should individual interests be considered, but it is also necessary to consider the interests of everyone and all.
That is why God created universal principles: on the one hand, he created the mind of Christ as a safeguard so that no being, no matter how low he chooses to go, is definitively lost, safeguarding the possibility of returning to the unity of life, if he chooses to do so.
On the other hand, since the purpose of life is to learn and grow in consciousness, he designed the law of karma to allow us to learn through the choices and actions we carry out and make better choices than the ones we did before.
We can also say that the formula “forgiving everyone, everything, ourselves, God, others», is the only way to salvation is very true. And when we feel anger, resentment or any other lower feelings towards others, we are always in duality.
Anger, frustrations, resentment, etc., are always felt by a separate spirit and until we let go of all these spirits, we will never be able to shift from the separate mind to the spiritual mind that is always one with all life.
The emotions referred generate a distance between us and others, divide us from others, and keep us in duality. Therefore, in addition to being the expression of a higher consciousness, the ability to forgive is also an essential tool for all who wish to progress on the spiritual path.
However, it is not enough to say the words “I forgive” to make this change of being, it is necessary to go beyond words and cross the feeling of duality to the unity of the spirit.
Having reached this point, we can draw some conclusions:
- Humanity, fallen into separate consciousness, is unable to have a direct experience of God and, therefore, forms the image of a God with the same psychological characteristics and flaws as human beings. – they see God through the mirror of human qualities.
- Religions and human beings have formed images about God and formed concepts that they believe are a faithful translation of the reality of God.
From these concepts, they define rules and commandments of behavior that are based on human ideas created by the dualistic mind: good and evil, fair and unfair, etc.
- And when they believe that despite following these rules that they consider to have been given by God, their life does not improve, they rebel against God who they consider to be the cause of their suffering.
It is not difficult to see that all this results from unrealistic assumptions about God and that the only solution is to get out of the dualistic mind and have a direct, internal experience of God.
And while it is not yet possible to have this direct experience of God, because human beings allow the external self to govern their lives, there is one thing they can do: forgive.
Forgive ourselves, God, everyone who has ever hurt us, and abandon the idea that it will not be possible to return to the original innocence with which we were created.
Acceptance and mercy, have been present throughout Earth’s history and they
are the only way to experience the inner unity that allows us to forgive and achieve peace when living on Earth. And, at the same time, they help us to overcome anger against God, against others, life itself and ourselves.
