Transcending what takes our peace away

Psyche

In this article I continue to focus on the qualities of the 7th ray, connected with the qualities of the 6th ray, Peace, and discuss how we can transcend what takes our peace away.

As we progress through the 7th ray ‘s initiations, we begin to realize that freedom only becomes active and full when we master the qualities of all the previous 6 rays.

The Challenges we Need to Surpass to Be Free

Ego

At the 48th level of consciousness we grow by developing our sense of individuality, that allows us to emerge from the collective consciousness and from what the Masters call «the mob consciousness», so well noticed in group reactions,  as seen  on social media- and that some take advantage of to achieve personal agendas of power and influence.

But becoming an individual at this point includes strengthening the outer self (born and developed in the world of form). This self can be perfected, and this creates the illusion that this is the «spiritual self».

This is a big challenge for many people, who do not recognize that this is not the spiritual self.

This self can be perfected through many lifetimes, and it contributes effectively to our spiritual growth. However, this is an external self, and, as Master Jesus said so many times,« only the self that descended from heaven can return to heaven» and that’s why it is necessary to let it die.

The second challenge of Christ’s initiation is the determining milestone, when we approach to the 96th level of consciousness, and face this challenge. If we don’t pass this initiation, our growth will stop and we can become stuck for many lives or even initiate a downward spiral in the «left-handed path», as tradition have been calling it.

When people choose to glorify its ego, instead of letting it die to be reborn as a spiritual being, they «fall» and can become very self-centered, attached to the things of the world of form.

Some other people pass the second challenge of Christ’s initiation and are open to the Christ mind but either convince themselves that they no longer have an «ego» or become terrified of thinking that they still have an ego.

About this Master St Germain in His book[1] helps us to have a more positive perspective about this: we will continue to have an outer self until the moment we ascend, because it is this outer self that allows us to stay incarnated in the world of form.

But we don’t identity with it, we keep only some selves – that we will have until the ascension– that keep us connected to the physical body.

So, we must recognize that we need to have a physical body, to perform our divine plans, but we don’t identify with the physical body, and this is the crucial difference, we see the material bodies as the vehicle to stay in the world of form. And we are at command of that vehicle and not otherwise.

There is also a difference to consider: people at, or below, the 48th level of consciousness, are completely identified with the physical body but, after the 96 level of consciousness, that sense of identification is being shattered level by level, so, at the higher levels, we keep only the few selves that allow the connection with the physical body and nothing else.

Also, we must strive to transcend the self that keeps the image of an ultimate state of growth, be it enlightenment, or anything related to a «perfect unchangeable state» of being, where they would have no more Ego, while they would stay in embodiment. This is a collective powerful illusion but is still an illusion with no reality on it.

The Matter Realm’s Image as Enemy of Spiritual Growth

The image kept by many that we can’t be spiritual people because Earth is in such a turmoil state or because of this or that condition, also needs to be transcended. Like the Masters have been teaching us, there will never be a time with «the best conditions» for our spiritual growth.

We must learn to attain peace no matter what happens in the outside world. Of course, the outer self, the ego, can never feel peace on Earth; but the conscious you, the spiritual pure awareness of our I am Presence, can and is. The solution to feel at peace is to attune with the Presence in us, there is no other way.

No matter what happens on Earth, we can feel at peace and manifest the Christ consciousness, that doesn’t depend on anything of the matter world to manifest itself.

We also need to focus on our divine plan: this was chosen by our spiritual self, and is based on real possibilities and potentialities and not in any dreams of the outer self. If we feel that we can’t have what we want from the outside world, we will gain perspective when we ask ourselves if what some self in us wants from the world is in accordance with our divine plan.

When the outer- self desires something that is contrary to the achievement of our divine plan, we ourselves subconsciously sabotage its achievement as this would divert us from the essential goals we brought to this life to be accomplished.

The Image of what should Be or Should Happen in the World

Many expectations about what «should happen» in the world are a big hindrance to our inner peace. We need to ask who is the «I» that keeps these expectations about our lives or how the world should be as they are what takes away our peace.

When we have these expectations, we forget that we are not alone in this world of form and that we are not the only ones with freedom to make choices.  We cannot see the world to be as we would like it to be, because we cannot force others to comply with our vision, neither are we the only ones with power to co-create in the world.

Therefore, it is only the external self that thinks it is separate from others and  imagine that he has power to change the world according to its own will. Of course it is just another illusion.

We cannot and, if we identify with our spiritual identity, we don’t want to force other people to accept our image of how life should be on Earth. The use of manipulative power to convince others that our point of view is better than theirs is not the way to attain real Peace and is, in fact, they also are what  takes away our peace.

In the words of Master St Germain « You can only – and I say ONLY with capital letters – be at peace through surrender. »[2]

What we must surrender is  «(…) the outer self, the mortal self. and attune to our I am Presence». There’s only peace in our I am Presence and in us, when we attune to it.

The Decisive Step

Until we accept lettting the external -self die, we are divided withing ourselves. And we can only break this puzzle by loving more our spiritual identity than our mortal identity. It is that simple.

If we love more the outer- self, we will initiate the «left- handed path», glorifying the ego and stopping out spiritual growth.

But, if we love more our I am Presence, it will shine through us and fill us with the love of our creator, manifested as the Consciousness of Christ in our being, until we ascend , letting the mortal identity behind, in the last act of will in the world of form.
