Will and Anti-Will- An Important Initiation
I have already written about Will and Anti-Will, you can read these articles on this site. Today I am addressing an important initiation related to freedom, will and anti-will.
The Rebellion Against Divine Will by the Fallen the Beings
When the first beings fell, in the 4th sphere, they began a process that remains as a challenge to all who have ever entered the consciousness of separation and duality.
When we were created, and we experimented with freedom, as beings with just a ‘point’ consciousness, the purpose was precisely to know that it is possible to go against the laws established by the Creator.
If, in this process, we choose to experiment longer with the consciousness of duality, this is indeed allowed, there is no punishment or blame for those who ‘fall’, for it is an experience that in many cases can lead to a greater deepening of consciousness when they return to the Way of Life.
But this is more likely with beings who are inexperienced when they fall and have little development in their abilities to understand reality, and who accept help to return to the Way of Life.
But what happens when the rebellion against the divine will occurs in a being who has already reached a high degree of discernment and self-awareness?
In this case things are very different, and we can even say that we are faced with a very important initiation: the rebellion against God’s will is not, in this case, the result of inexperience or lack of understanding; we can say that it is a rebellion related to the “power” of the will- the self-discovered power of the created against the will of the Creator.
I have said this before, but I would like to take a moment to examine the words so that we can see beyond them: the beings who first fell (in the 4th sphere) were not debutantes, they were highly evolved beings who held positions of power and authority on the planets where they lived.
Because of their level of consciousness, they had developed their spiritual consciousness and therefore, we believe, had at least some degree of oneness with the Christ Consciousness.
But something happened that created a rift between this Christ consciousness and a new type of consciousness that was beginning to develop within them.
These beings were at a high level of development, but they were still living on the material plane and were not ascend from that plane.
So even though they lived in a sphere whose matter was less dense than the matter in which our planet Earth is located, they still had a self that was connected to the material plane – an ‘outer self’ or at least the ‘overall self’, the first self with the sense of identity that was brought into the world of form in the first incarnation. This self still has a sense of identity as separate from the I am presence.[1]
And because of that, the connection with the spiritual identity was not complete, there was space for an alternative identity to emerge with inclinations that were connected to the material plane.
Now when they looked at all that they had done on this material plane, the structures that they had built, the works that they had done, they were struck by the same experience that we see in the myth of ‘Narcissus’:
Instead of identifying with the spiritual identity, that is one with all life, they clung to their creation on the material plane and fell in love with that image: they defined their identity as the beings that had produced acts and thus linked their sense of identity as inseparable from the acts performed in the material world.
They allowed the feelings of vanity and superiority to take over their minds, all their deeds on the material plane had a shocking effect on their minds, causing them to prefer their mortal identity to their spiritual identity.
The result was that, not wanting to let go of the things they had done on the material plane, they clung to them and gave the outer self the authority to take control of their lives.
They made a choice and took a decision: they chose to remain in the separate mind of the ego and raised the anti-will of the ego against the divine will which, in their perception, deprived them of the protagonism and the connection to what they had created on the plane of matter.
As a comment, I note that everything we do in this world with Divine Light is not really us doing it, we are just the ‘open door’, as the spiritual ‘light’ that allows us to create comes from another source, be it the I am Presence or an Ascended Master. We are the open door to that Light; we are not the ‘owners’ of the Light.
But the vanity and pride that these beings felt in creating in the material world caused them to slip into the separate mind of the ego, which, having been created on Earth, vainly yearns to attain immortality. And the desire to be ‘special’ and to be recognised as such by the Creator paved the way for the separation that has worsened to this day.
We Are Co-Creators, Not Creators
The desire to be ‘special’ was so strong in these beings that they accused the Creator of ‘jealousy’ for not recognising their ‘merit’, that is, the desire to have their own world to do as they pleased in it.
They forgot, however, that they existed in a universe not of their making, and that to become creators they would have to rise in consciousness to the level of the Creator, which was clearly not their case.
We can say that these beings, in their excessive vanity and pride, wanted to usurp a power to which they had no right, because they did not have the level of consciousness of the Creator, and because they existed as co-creators, who can create within the limits set by the Creator, and cannot change the laws of creation.
However, in the blindness of their vanity, these beings have not realized, until today, that they are far from reaching the level of a world-creating being and have formed the matrix of all usurpers out of excessive vanity and desire for power over others, the desire to position themselves above others, in a perversion of the Divine Will, try to seize power.
This has left a matrix in the Universe that we inhabit, leading to the need for a test of will, for anyone who reaches a certain level of power and development of consciousness.
This test is visible on many levels, as we find ourselves close to the 96th level of consciousness possible on Earth and beyond.
The Initiation of Will or anti-will
This test can manifest itself, for example, when we ignore the reality of freedom and decide that there is so much suffering in the world and that this suffering should not exist, so we must do something about it.
Some, especially the Avatars, have difficulty accepting suffering. For them this test of will can be difficult. Another common test is – still – the question of freedom – why did God give freedom to people who use it to create more and more suffering in their lives? and why does God allow so much evil in the world, etc.?
Every time we question these aspects, a part of our will – the will of the ego, the separate will – thinks it can ‘do better’ than God. But this thought comes from the outer self, which is vulnerable to the projections of the collective consciousness, not from our spiritual identity.
It is not the spiritual self, but the reactive self that asks these kinds of questions and compares, defines, excludes this or that aspect.
However, to grow effectively in our spiritual identity, we need – as the ‘conscious you’- to jump out of this self, which is vulnerable to the anti-will that is rampant on the planet due to the duality consciousness.

From the perspective of our spiritual identity we know that the suffering on the planet can only be resolved when the inhabitants of the planet make different choices to abandon duality consciousness. The conscious you must stop identifying with the outer self and connect with its I am presence.
And as a final test or initiation, the conscious you must release all elements of anti-will by deciding that it will never again enter into duality. Only when this decision is supported by a true inner transformation can the conscious you ascend.
For if there is any remnant of the desire to use freedom to challenge God’s will, it cannot ascend. In the spiritual realm, no being is immortalised if they still have any desire to enter into duality.
