Wisdom is Raising the Consciousness
In this post I continue to write about wisdom, a quality of the 2nd ray, related to what I wrote in the last post, that «there is no ultimate truth on Earth». I am following the teachings of Master Lanto, the Chohan of the 2nd Ray[1]. I will discuss why wisdom is raising the consciousness.
I am also going to associate the quality of wisdom with vision, in connection to the 2nd ray.
Vision and Christ Consciousness
The Bible gives a good example of wisdom related to vision, in the description of Saul’s conversion, by telling us that he was on his way to Damascus, with the intention of persecuting Christians, when, suddenly, he felt struck by a vision, in which Jesus asked him “why are you persecuting me”?
It is said that he was blind for a few days but this blindness – a metaphor for the jump out of the external self – allowed him to open himself to the Christ consciousness and, through this, to identify with the spiritual self, having then become a disciple of the teachings of Jesus.
Saul of Tarsus, as he was known, is today the ascended Master Hilarion, Chohan of the 5th ray of vision.
What happened that day was that he jumped out of the ego, to connect to his inner identity of the spiritual self- the conscious you– and this consciousness helped him to elevate himself to the next level of consciousness. And when he did this, he no longer was the same man that was persecuting the Christians.
So, there is an important link between vision and wisdom. This «vision» we are talking about here is the vision coming from the opened eye chakra, although it is not enough to have an opened eye chakra to attain wisdom, It takes an act of will to achieve it, wisdom is raising the consciousness.
Wisdom is What Helps our Spiritual Growth in Awareness
In the last post, I wrote about the dream of the external self to obtain an «ultimate truth», what the spiritual tradition called ‘enlightenment’, which would be an ultimate state of consciousness that would then become immutable.
You can read more about that in a previous post. Now I just note that wisdom is not a static state of knowledge or consciousness, it is what helps us go from our present level of consciousness to the next level.
In Master Lanto’s words: « The highest wisdom is always the wisdom that you can grasp with you present level of consciousness but that can still accelerate you to the next level up. »[2]
Wisdom is not about acquiring «information», external knowledge, wisdom is an internal process where, by using the information and the teachings, invocations, decrees, etc., you transform your sense of self, by elevating the vibrational frequency of your own being.
That’s why the Masters say that wisdom is not an «external – of the ego, the analytical mind- process» it is raising the consciousness.
If we pay attention to Master Lanto’s words, we see that, for one hand, we must receive teachings that we can understand with the level of consciousness we have right now. This implies that the Masters, our spiritual teachers, must adapt what they teach us, to the students’, reason why the teachings are not given at the highest level.
But, on the other hand, that teaching must also be able to help the students to jump from their current level of consciousness to a higher level of consciousness. There is no guarantee that this second aspect will be fulfilled, because it depends on the student, on his willingness to go higher in awareness in his willingness to step out of the ego into the spiritual identity.
When the student insists on studying the ascended Masters’s teaching with the external self, all he can get is an intellectual descriptive knowledge. But he will not grasp it nor internalize it by that way.
The need for us to use the power and will of our spiritual identity, and purity of intention, to approach the spiritual teachings is something that we all need to do, the Masters can’t do it for us, nor would they violate our freedom.
Like we have been told, many times, there is no mechanic path to salvation, no matter how the external self looks for it, or believes in it.
The Ascended Master’s Teachings Can Help Us Elevate out Consciousness
Although the limitations of the written words, when we read or hear a dictation from the Masters given by a recognized messenger, these words can elevate us if we are willing to become one with the Master giving the words to us.
But his doesn’t happen spontaneously, we can hear or read the words without leaving the consciousness of the external self and, since this is unable to connect to the Master, the words will have the same effect will have the same effect as others coming from the external world.
The ascended Masters’s dictations are never the ultimate word or ultimate truth or wisdom. The fundamental key to attain wisdom is raising the consciousness.
As spiritual students, we must transcend the desire of an «ultimate» or «absolute truth», that comes from the ego, the external self. If we insist on staying with a particular teaching because we consider it the «absolute word» about something, our growth will stop.
This happens because every teaching is given to a certain level of consciousness to help the students go higher from there. For instance, the series of books of the 7 Chohans I ‘ve been commenting on and writhing about, are given to take students from the 48th level of consciousness to the 96th level.
This does not mean, though, that students can’t go beyond the 96th level of consciousness but if they go up from there it is because they make the effort to stretch their minds, like Master Maitreya once said and perhaps because they already were next to the 96th level, when they began to study ascended Masters’s teachings.
Master Lanto gives an important statement about this: « When you are willing to let go of an existing teaching and open your mind to the inner direction from your Christ self and your ascended teachers, you will receive it». [3]
Healing old attachments to past Institutions and Organizations
The teachings of the ascended Masters tell us that we have been in the world of form for many lives, reincarnating thousands of times before this life we are living now.
And, in the past, we may have been connected to some religion, organization or institution, having created attachments that we are not aware of in this life, but that can become a hindrance to our spiritual growth.
Master Lanto tells us that he helps the students that are ready and go at night to His retreat in the etheric realm, to see these attachments in the identity, mental, and emotional bodies.
But He cannot cut the hooks that exist in the 3 higher bodies, completely, because people don’t remember what happens when they go to the Masters retreats at night and the students must be conscious to cut those hooks.
It was by an act of will and a decision that someone created an attachment to any organization, and it takes an act of will and a conscious decision to cut these ties
Furthermore, the ego usually makes the person believe that it is imperative to keep loyal to the attachments and, until people open themselves to the power of vision of the spiritual self, they will not be able to cut those ties.
People who have ties to some institution, religion or organization will not grow until they move on because the attachment represents some pattern of truth the person accepted a long time ago, a pattern born on Earth that has nothing to do with wisdom.
Until the hooks kept in the 3 higher bodies are not cut, it simply is not possible to grow further.
It is necessary to open to the vision (the Christ experience) to see the ties for what they are, an outdated connection that only ties the person to the consciousness of death, having no life on it. Only the Christ mind knows that wisdom is raising the consciousness to a higher level.
This will allow people to heal old wounds caused by any kind of attachment.
